Djibouti(SD)-The Somaliland President Mr. Muse Bihi Abdi received an official invitation from the Djibouti and is currently there on a “short visit” according to Somaliland.

The purpose of the President’s trip lies in fostering the deep relationship and development cooperation between the Republic of Somaliland and the Republic of Djibouti. 

Sources are speculating that this visit is shrouded in secrecy in terms of it being vague in agenda and supstance.

Furthermore, absent in the photo ops did not feature the Somaliland national flag, which begs the question is Mr. Bihi representing Somaliland or himself.

The only sign of the Somaliland flag was the tiny flag pin on the Somaliland lapel.

It is a know reality Mr. Geulleh’s feelings towards the democratic republic, what is not known is why is Mr. Bihi allowing the absence of the his nations flag in the “official”meetings. 

If the Djibouti government is adamant in not honoring the Somaliland desire for independence is one thing, but Somaliland should at least demand to have our Flag pictured with our elected representative while on an official visits there.

The other option is, if the visit have national value, which is yet to be determined, there should be no photo ops.
