Mogadishu(SD)-Conference of Hiil Qaran, Hor U Socod, NDP, Waddjir and MBDA had a meeting in Mogadishu today and they have announced a new alliance with the federal government of Somalia.

The leaders of the opposition parties were all present at the announcement, which featured former Somali presidents Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed.

The Alliance was named the National Forum, and elected transitional speaker called C / latiif Moses Sanyare a former member of parliament, and a decision was made to cooperate to tackle current issues.

The new alliance seems to bring together the political power of the opposition parties, and although they have not elected a leader, they are seen to be unanimous in their opposition to the current leadership in the country.
