Mogadishu July 25,2019(SD)-Sources close to the investigation of yesterday’s blast at Mogadishu’s local government center reveal that a women carried out the suicide attack.

The source claimed the woman suicide attacker who died was named Hodan and was the Coordinator for People with Special Needs.

It is not yet known how the suicide bomber managed to get to the scene of the meeting, but security officials believe she was helped to reach the location and further investigations are under way.   

Al-Shabaab has already identified the attack as one of the most significant attacks in recent years to secure a safe haven and harm other officials.
