Dhusamareb(SD)-Reports from Galgadud region in central Somalia say that the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) forces, especially Ethiopian troops, have reached Guri-el and Galgadud districts.

The troops withdrawn from Hiran region reportedly passed through Matabaan district, advancing through Guri-ell to Dhusamareb district, the headquarters of Galmudug state.

The unknown number of troops will be part of the security in Galmudug areas and will be deployed to specific locations, including Dhusa-Mareeb airport.

The Transitional Federal Government of Somalia seems to be succeeding in managing the Galmudug reconciliation and subsequent elections then the fiasco in Jubaland.

The Galmudug scenario seems to mimic the Baidoa situation, were the federal government was able to use AMISOM troops to get a favorable outcome.
