Las Anod (SD) – A large delegations arrived today in Las Anod, the capital of Sool region and are expected to attend the largest book fair yet in that city.

The show’s organizing committee said that the first delegation from Ethiopia, Kenya, and from various parts of Somalia had arrived in the city, and many more are expected.

The show, which is the largest in Las Anod, has all youth organizations occupied in order to accommodate the influx of visitors to Las Anod.

The Las Anod Book Fair is expected to attract more communities according to scholars organizing the event.

Somaliland business community are said to have played a large role in hosting the Las Anod Book Fair which is expected to be historic, given the regions political history.
