Ethiopia: President Bihi visits Djibouti, less than two weeks after Somalia President Farmajo visits Djibouti

Hargeisa(SD)-The Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs briefly discussed the visit of President Muse Bihi Abdi this week on their weekly report.

The Ethiopian foreign ministry said President Bihi’s visit to Djibouti had followed after the President of Somalia Mohamed Farmajo also concluded his visited to Djibouti less than two weeks prior.

The Ethiopian text translated by the Horn of Africa reads: “President Ismail Omar Guelleh met on Tuesday (13 September) with Somaliland leader Moses Bihi and his delegation, The two sides discussed a number of areas of mutual interest including economic, media, trade cooperation between Djibouti and Somaliland. This was Muse Bihi’s second trip to Djibouti, less than two weeks after Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi held bilateral talks with Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh. ” said the report.
