Burao(SD)-Somaliland police in Burao shut down a popular Ethiopian restaurant owned by couple of ladies.

The police in Burao city also arrested the Ethiopian staff working at the Warsan restaurant.

According to reports coming out of that city, the restaurant as accused by Burao scholars who say that the owners played music and that men and women sat togather.

The Togdheer region is dominated by religious clerics, and it is strictly prohibited to hold music concerts in the city venues.
