Hargeisa9SD)-European Union Ambassador to Somalia Nicolas Berlanga today traveled to Berbera by road and during his trip was blocked by heavy rains.

The EU ambassador posted his experience on his twitter   

The EU ambassador went on to meet with the mayor of Berbera Abdishakur Ciddin and his team.

“Visit to the Mayor of Berbera. Impressed by the commitment and anticipation from a young team around the Mayor. EU, with UN Habitat as implementing partner, will be launching 7,5 mill € for improving planning and services in Berbera” said the ambassador in a tweet.

The EU announcement is the largest from them in recent years, and will be interesting to see it implemented.
