Hargeisa (SD) – The chairman of the UCID opposition party, Eng. Faisal Ali Warabe, has for the first time made clear that the governments of Kenya and Ethiopia are working towards Somalia’s national interests.

The UCID Chairman talked about people he thinks are best suited to work on finding solutions on Somalia’s current issues.

The Chairman accused the Federal Government of Somalia focused on all of its efforts in getting back Somaliland and not a solution for Somalia.

Faisal Ali said Somalis from Kenya, Ethiopia and those from Djibouti and Somaliland are to collaborate in in finding a lasting solution for Somalia.

“Kenya and Ethiopia are not suited for the Somalia issues, let the other four Somali communities work together to find a solution.” Said the UCID Chairman.

The UCID Chairman continued “Somalis have abandoned their advisory role and concentrated on how to capture Somaliland. Somali State of Ethiopia we advocated for you in the past, you should do the same for us at this time, say the right thing on our behalf.

Its not clear why the Chairman things he will hear a favorable decision from other Somalis, who in the past seemed to be in more line with Somalia’s sentiment towards Somaliland.

The UCID Chairman is a staunch Somalilander, who constantly blurs the line between patriotism and nationalism when it comes to Somaliland independence.
