Mogadishu(SD)-Galmudug President Ahmed Ducale Guelleh Haf has announced that he has quit the Galmudug presidential election and will not be among the candidates.

Haf said during his tenure as the president, he was obstructed, but if he had gained cooperation, Galmudug would have been at a better place.

“I declare that we have withdrawn from Galmudug’s  presidential election, but I would urge the electorate to work with the candedates,” he said.

After a long dispute with the federal government of Somalia, Haf entered into an agreement with the Somali government and remain in Mogadishu.
