Mogadishu(SD)-Security agencies in Somalia have released the first preliminary results of their investigation on the attack last month at the Hamar administration building.

“A preliminary investigation by security agencies found that a female suicide bomber blew herself up in Hamar district, With the help of another female aid, she was employed at the local government center,” the report said.

The report sited that there were flaws in the fetting process for government employees.

The attack killed eight people, including the governor and the mayor of the capital Mogadishu, Abdirahman Yarisow, who died in the attack.

The attack was claimed by the Somali terrorist group Al-Shabab.
