Galmudug (SD) – Galmudug’s Administration building Commission has announced the new Galmudug election timetable following a delay in the pre-election timetable.

The newly announced timetable for the election of Galmudug president and vice-president will take place on 9 January 2020.

The Federal government of Somalia has managed to take control of the Galmudug election process, which caused lots scepticism in the region.

It is worth noting that this new Galmudug election schedule is very close to the Puntland election schedule, the elections on these regions are poised to happen two consecutive days.
