Nairobi(SD)-The German embassy in Nairobi has announced again another $ 3 million in support of the federal election in Somalia.

Germany says it will help Somalia move forward 50 years after the it’s first public elections.

On average, Germany said its funding for the federal election system would be worth $ 5.75 million, as part of supporting a peaceful democracy in Somalia.

In order to achieve this, Germany called on all political leaders in Somalia to reach an agreement on the nature of elections and the law that would ensure elections are timely and reliable.
