Mogadishu(SD)-The Somali government lifted a 24-hour ban on flights to Kismayo, the headquarters of the Jubbaland administration.
News of the lifting of the ban on the flights to Kismayo has been confirmed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
All flights from the regions of Somalia and Mogadishu will go directly to Kismayo.
But international flights are still being monitored and restrictions are lifted on local flights.
The Somali government has already restricted flights to Kismayo by enforcing a 24-hour registration policy on them which has hindered the flow of flights between Kismayo and other regions of the country.
