Kismayo(SD)-The Jubbaland regional presidential election commission has issued a different timetable for the presidential and parliamentary elections.

The new timetable issued by the commission indicates that the election of the president of the Jubbaland state will take place on August 19, while the speaker of parliament will be elected on the 17th.

The change of the new selection process comes after a strong Parliament confusion in the election of the state, as two sets of Parliamentarians were announced the same time yesterday.
