Wajer (SD) – Kenyan police officer gave details of an attack by Al-Shabaab on bus traveling through the road that connects Wajer to Kutulod in the North Eastern province of Wajer.
Wajer Police Commissioner Stephen Ng’etich said the attackers separated the victims based on their religious believe before killing at least 10 passengers.
Police say the gunmen shot all non-Muslims on the bus, this is not the first time Al Shabaab did similar attacks in Wajer.
Al-Shabab, which claimed responsibility for the attack, said it had killed people heading towards Mandera district.
Kenya grapples with constant attacks from Somalia’s Al-Shabab, in addition to hunting civilians the terror group mounts direct attacks on a police bases in the Northeast region.
