Hargeisa(SD)-Somaliland’s House of Representatives declared that the motion to add two members to the Somaliland Election Commission is against the house rules.

Somaliland’s parliamentary legal adviser Mustafe Mohamed X Dahir said today that the motion to add two members to the electoral commission is not in line with the rules of the House of Representatives, and he has dismissed the motion.

With that,  the Somaliland House of Representatives went on a 45-day holiday today.

The motion was part of an agreement between the three Somaliland  parties and the international community which was supposed insure the house elections next year.
