Hargeisa(SD)-Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi has sent a letter to the King of Saudi Arabia thanking him for officially inviting him to the Hajj this year and to commemorate the historic relationship between Somaliland and Saudi Arabia.

President Bihi stated in the letter that Somaliland is an independent state and that it is his responsibility maintaining the dignity and sovereignty of Somaliland, thus issuing a diplomatic Visa on his Somaliland passport, establishing a presidential honors and organizing a special meeting with the Saudi king.

President Bihi stated in his letter that he would not accept the King’s invitation to the pilgrimage unless his demands are fulfilled.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has not yet responded to the demands of the Somaliland president.
