Bossaso(SD)-Ministers from Somalia’s Federal Government, traveled to Bossaso, the provincial capital of Bari region for an unaroused visit, they met with President of Puntland, Said Abdullahi Deni.
Ministers who met with President Deni, all from Puntland, including Foreign Minister Ahmed Issa Awad, Minister of Planning, Jamal Hassan Mohamed, Minister of Fisheries, Abdullahi Bidhan Warsame and other members.
According to reliable sources, the ministers proposed to resolve the dispute between the government and the Federal government.
The federal ministers also demanded that Puntland not participate in the inauguration ceremony of Jubaland President Ahmed Mohamed Islan, which is expected to take place soon in Kismayo.
President Deni said that his government is always ready to resolve the conflict with Villa Somalia.
However, the president of Puntland totally rejected their proposal not to attend the inauguration of Jubaland president, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, and he made it clear that Puntland will not ask anyone permission to attend the Jubaland inauguration.
The meeting between the two sides ended without any result and the federal ministers are expected to return to Mogadishu today.
