Moscow(SD)-The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, delivered a speech at the Russian-Africa Leaders Summit on present opportunities for cooperation and investment.
The president discussed in depth the importance of Africa-Russia cooperation, which he said would be mutually beneficial, and stressed the importance of Africa’s partnership with the international community.
The President reaffirmed the historic relationship between Somalia and Russia, bilateral cooperation and investment projects, and the commitment of the Federal Government of Somalia to reestablish that relationship.
President urged the leaders attending the event and Investors to visit the country to see the progress, and to assess the investment opportunities and the resources that God has blessed our country.
President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo thanked his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, the government and the general public for their warm welcome, saying that Somalia welcomes the positive points raised by the forum.
