President Farmajo travels to Asmara

Mogadishu (SD) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and a delegation led by him traveled to Asmara, the capital of Eritrea.

The delegation was sent of by officials from the Federal Government of Somalia at Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport, and it is expected that the two sides will talk will continue to strengthen bilateral relations with President Isaias Afwerki.

The Eritrean government is one of the governments that have been close friends with the government led by President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, in the Eritrean and Ethiopian alliance and regional cooperation.

President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has been in Eritrea several times, holding various meetings with the leaders of that country, and there is regional cooperation between Somalia and Ethiopia.
