Buhodle(SD)-The Puntland Ministry of Interior has announced that it has finalized the construction of Buhoodle District Council in Ayn region.

The ministry unveiled a new list of 25 members of Buhodle District Council selected by the traditional elders of the district.

The members of the Buhoodle District Council also elected the governor and deputy district commissioner last night after an election.

The mayor of Buhodle was elected Shawr Abdullahi Mohamed and his deputy Mohamed Ali Qawdhan, according to Puntland Minister of Interior Mohamed Abdirahman Dhabana’ad.

This is the second local District Council Puntland created in the disputed zones between them and Somaliland.
