Mogadishu(SD)-The Interior Ministry of Somalia says it does not recognize the elections of Kismayo and is concerned about the various individuals who proclaimed themselves as the President of Jubaland.

“The Ministry of Interior is concerned and saddened by the recent developments in the city of Kismayo regarding the inauguration that are not in line with the electoral process, the constitution and the laws of the country.” said an statement from the ministry.

The news announced by the Interior Ministry is that it would only recognize a consensus election.
