Nairobi(SD)-Somaliland’s Ambassador to Kenya Amb Baashe Awil said in a Facebook post that he congratulates Kenyan government for winning the African Union vote to represent Africa at the United Nations Security Council, the seat is contested by Djibouti.

The message that Amb Baashe Awil published was “We congratulate the Kenyan Government on it’s win of the African Union’s UN Security Council seat.”.

This comes after Somalia’s government announced it’s support for Djibouti’s bit for the same seat.
