Somali Government is saddened by Red Cross statement

Mogadishu (SD) – The Somali government is sadden by the statement of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Red Cross (ICRC & SRCS) in Somalia, in describing the recent deadly Mogadishu attack as a clash between two sides.

An statement from the Somali Ministry of Information said the Red Cross statement was a demeaning to the Somali government and the civilian casualties of the attack, mostly of the innocent students, children and mothers.

The government has advised the ICRC and SRCS to distinguish words of encouragement for opposing groups and addressing incidents that happen.

The Dec 28, 2019 suicide bomber targeted a Police check point at the Afgoye ex-control  intersection.

Al Shabab claimed the recent Deadly Mogadishu Bombing, which claim over a hundred lives and injured many more.
