Stockholm (SD) – Swedish Radio reports that a women who were originally from Somalia and joined Daish will be deported back to Somalia.
The women who are Swedish citizens were captured in Syria and were questioned in a military camp occupied by the Syrian Army (SDF).
According to the report, the president of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has agreed to allow the women to be returned to Somalia.
Somalia’s Ambassador to the EU, Ali Said Faqi said the women will not be prosecuted in Somalia as they have not committed any criminal acts there.
According to Kurdish officials, there are about 30-40 Swedish citizens of Somali origin at Hol Camp in Syria. Ambassador Faqi, said the Somali president made the decision after European countries refused to accept women with ISIS affiliation.
