Somali President meets with Prime Minister of Canada

Addis Ababa (SD) – Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo held a sideline meeting in Addis Ababa with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau.

The two leaders discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between Somalia and Canada in many areas that would benefit the two countries.

Canada has many Somalis who now call Canada and play a vital role in the development of the both countries and its peoples.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and President Farmajo are both there for the African Union meetings there this week in the Ethiopian capital Addis Abba. 

Canada is campaigning for a United Nation’s security council seat bit, while President Farmajo is there as a member and is seeking further support for Somalia’s stabilizations efforts.
