Mogadishu (SD) – A delegation led by Somaliland Chamber of Commerce chairman Jamal Aided Ibrahim has today taken a cash donation Aid to flood victims in Beledweyne.
The delegation raised about six hundred thousand dollars, which will be handed over to the flood relief committee in Mogadishu for the Beledweyne flood victims.
“We have been collecting this money for a month and a half, with the support of the president and the business community in Somaliland and collections from mosques,” said Somaliland Chamber of Commerce chairman Jamal Aided.
Jamal Aided said it was the second time they had made an emergency response, he noted that those who are in crisis should be rescued and they also helped us in the past.
Also, he said there was an early payout of the flood aid before the early stages in the disaster.
