Borama(SD)-Somaliland authorities arrested three members of the Borama City Council.

The three arrested MP’s are Mohamed Muhumed Dheeree who was deputy mayor of Borama district, MP Mustafe Hayte and Indho Sheel councilor.

The government has not yet officaily stated the reason for their arrest and the detention of the detainees, however, sources indicate that they are being held for their support for anti-government rebel forces in Sanaag, led by Col Arre.
