Wadani party cautions Western Allies about President Bihi’s anti democratic Tendencies

HARGEISA (SD) – Somaliland’s electoral dispute entered a new realm this week after president Muse Bihi Abdi officially announced that he intends to register new political associations, instead of holding the presidential elections slated for this November, a move that sideline the current political parties whose certificates expire in December 2022.

The government has also denied the current political parties their constitutional right to hold rallies and have incarcerated top officials without a charge for doing so recently.

To discuss what are the opposition’s next moves I spoke with Wadani party’s information secretary Mohamoud Adam Jama Galal.
