Hargeisa (SD) – According to news reports from Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland, reporter Abdimalik Muse Oldon has allegedly been tested for COVID-19.
The Jailed Journalist Oldon has been reportedly sick in jail where he is displaying Coronavirus symptoms for the last few days.
According to reports, Oldon was suffering from severe cough and sore throat, raising the suspicion that he might have contracted the virus while in custody.
Somaliland health ministry has today confirmed they have testing the journalist for the Coronavirus, solidifying the allegations that the Journalist displayed the symptoms of the virus.
The Somaliland Ministry of health is expected to release the result of the testing as soon as they come in.
Somaliland ignored repeated calls to release journalist Abdimalik Muse Oldon, who is serving three years jail term for the sole reason of allegedly insulting President Muse Bihi Abdi.
