Abdi Hashi talks about Somali soldiers training in Eretria

Mogadishu (SD) – The Speaker of the Upper House of the Somali Parliament Abdi Hashi Abdullahi in his speech at the signing ceremony of the Electoral Agreement brought up the controversial issue of the Somali soldiers being trained in Eritrea.

The message was directed to the federal government leaders, especially the president Mohamed C / Abdullahi Mohamed.

Speaker Abdi Hashi asked the officials to address the Somali men in Eritrea, who have been sent there by the outgoing federal government officials for training in that country.

“These days there are complaints from parents whose children where sent to military training for two years. I urge government officials to respond to these parents and satisfy them, ”said the Speaker of the Upper House.

Abdi Hashi’s second message was a warning to the Somali people, especially lawmakers who are electing a new president, and advised them not to choose someone who is inexperienced.

“I mean the leaders we are electing to the government must be knowledgeable about governance,” said Abdi Hashi.
