Lasanod (SD) – Somaliland police in Lasanod, the capital of Sool, arrested Abokor Awale, a campaigner for a ban on Khat.

Abokor on a live video from his hotel room before being arrested refusing police orders to open his room.

Somaliland police have released Abukar Awale Qaad-diid, after he was briefly detained in Las Anod tonight.

Awale campaigner for Khat ban was deported to Garowe, as confirmed by an accompanying photographer.

Somaliland Authorities reportedly told Awale not to inter Somaliland, as they accused him of inciting anti-Somaliland sentiment.
