Thursday, September, 1, 2022 (SD) – News reports from Cada-kibir in Adado District, Galgadud Region in Central Somalia indicate that Al Shabaab fighters attacked vital infostructure there.

Al-Shabaab militants reportedly blew up the only water well of that district and Two Telecommunication Branch centers.

A local resident in that district confirmed to local media that Al-Shabaab fighters blew up the only water well of the district and Two of their telecommunication branch centers while residents of the district were sleeping.

The water well that Al-Shabaab fighters blew up was located in the areas highly affected by severe drought leaving the residents without water and communication.

Al -Shabaab stepped up its attacks in South and central Somalia since President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud have been re-elected to a second non consecutive term to office.
