Garissa December 21, 2022 (SD) Three people, two of whom are Kenya Police officers, were killed today in an attack by Al Shabaab fighters.

According to North Eastern Police Chief George Seda, The attack took place near Garissa.

The attack started with an explosion that targeted a military vehicle, followed by militants hitting the vehicle and its passengers with a rocket-propelled grenade.

The military said they are investigating the attack and are looking for the perpetrators. Al Shabaab is known to carry out such attacks in areas near the border between Somalia and Kenya.
