Sakow (SD) – At a large event in Sakow district of Middle Jubba region, Al Shabaab launched a new curriculum in schools in Al Shabaab controlled areas.

The new middle school curriculum introduced by Al Shabaab, was developed by the Al Shabaab Education Library, and is different from one taught in other schools in the country.

Senior Al Shabaab leaders, officials and parents attended the launch of Al Shabaab’s new middle school curriculum.

Most schools in the country have a government-issued curriculum, However, Al Shabaab-controlled areas are now implementing the new curriculum.
