Jigjiga (SD) – The Somali Regional State of Ethiopia says it has investigated the sudden death of the late Ali Khalif in Jigjiga today.
The Somali Regional State Government has announced that the late Ali Khalif Galaydh has died of COVID’19, Deputy Minister of Environment Mukhtar Yusuf told the media.
The local government adding a post-mortem had revealed that he had died of the disease, the Deputy Minister of Health told the media in Jigjiga.
The former Somali Prime Minister and head of Khatumo state Ali Khalif Galaydh has suddenly died in the Somali regional state of Jigjiga today.
The Somali government has said it will hold a national funeral for Prof. Ali Khalif Galaydh, following an order from President Farmajo.
Relatives of Ali Khalif Galaydh, and the Somali regional administration said the body will be taken to Mogadishu tomorrow for burial.
