Garbaharey (SD) – Reports from villages in Gedo region indicate that Kenyan airstrikes are believed to have killed and wounded several people there.

The bombed villages are part of Garbaharey and Beled-hawo districts, according to some residents who spoke with local media outlets.

The planes hit Harakoobe. Yaaqle, Qabri-haji & Baliga Dhadhaable and the reports of civilian casualties were reported, while others were injured.

One person was reported killed and four others were injured in the shelling, which also reportedly killed scores of livestock.

Reports from Gedo region in recent days say that Kenyan forces have been shelling the area, causing civilian deaths.
