New York (SD) – Somalia’s ambassador to the United Nations Abukar Dahir Osman (Abukar Bale) submitted evidence to the Security Council that Kenyan warplanes have bombed Somalia, killing and injuring Somali women and children.

The Somali government has repeatedly spoken out about the repeated casualties of Kenyan warplanes inside Somalia, injuring civilians, but this is the first time the government has presented evidence to the United Nations Security Council.

The move comes as relations between the two governments, which have been strained for some time, were improving these days.
