MOGADISHU (SD) – A land mine explosion that caused casualties including death and injuries occurred this morning between the intersection of Tarabunka and the Masarida hospital in Hodan district.

According to the news, the explosion targeted a vehicle carrying Somali military personnel, who were said to have survived the blast.

It has been confirmed that two civilians who were at the scene of the explosion died while another civilian was injured.

Somali police forces arrived at the scene of the explosion and could be seen investigating the incident, but did not report any arrests yet.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the latest explosion in Mogadishu.
