Dhusamareb (SD) – Dhusamareb conference is yet to open because the presidents of the Jubaland and Puntland administrations have not yet arrived in the city.

President Ahmed Madobe and President Said Deni are on a separate trips abroad, Kenya and Djibouti.

The two regional Presidents are expected to conclude their trips today and are to arrive in Dhusamareb later today.

Meanwhile, the President of Somalia and the Presidents of Hirshabelle, South West and Galmudug states are currently in Dhusamareb.

The much-anticipated Dhusamareb 3 conference is different from previous meetings, as the federal government is insisting on having the regional government agree to an extension on its term in office.
