Djibouti (SD) – The health ministry of the Republic of Djibouti announced Saturday that 280 new cases of Covid-19 virus have been detected in the country in the last three days.
That number is high compared to the last few weeks, were the country appeared to have succeeded in controlling the virus.
In Djibouti, 26,366 people have been diagnosed with 3,194 COVID-19 cases, and 1,286 of them have recovered.
The death toll is now at 22. Djibouti’s population is said to be close to one million people, and has tested the largest number of cases in East Africa of Covid-19.
