Djibouti (SD) – Somaliland Deputy Minister of Education Abdihakim Said Bustale, who is on a working visit to Djibouti, said Somaliland and Djibouti are co-operating to improve education.
In an interview with MM TV, Minister Bustale said he was in the Djiboutian capital at the official invitation of the Djiboutian Ministry of Education, where the two ministries reached an agreement on education development.
“Our agreement is based on sharing the skills and knowledge of the two ministries, and to further strengthen the educational relationship between the two countries, with basis of all Africa, cooperation being with neighboring countries, we started with Djibouti.” Said Minister Bustale.
The minister also said that they are also learning from the vocational education sector in Djibouti, as to transform Somaliland’s vocational schools.
The government of Djibouti, for its part, has not yet commented on the agreement with Somaliland on education.
