MOGADISHU(SD)-Two ships, one of which is a warship and the other carrying arms, docked at the Port of Mogadishu this afternoon.

This arms shipment is the second sent by Egypt to Somalia to support the Somali National Army.

Egypt and Somalia recently signed a security and defense cooperation agreement.

Most of the roads in Mogadishu were closed to facilitate the unloading of the arms shipment, and earlier today, operations at the Port of Mogadishu were temporarily suspended.

As of now, the types of weapons and military supplies carried by this ship are unknown, as the Somali government has not provided any details.
