Mogadishu (SD) – Electoral Dispute Resolution Committee has finally settled a complaint relating to lower house seat #Hop239 recently elected to Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Mohamed Guled Khadar.

An statement from the Electoral Dispute Committee said the process of the electoral election is accurate and in accordance with the Indirect Electoral Procedures.

The committee said they were investigating a complaint launched by incumbent Hussein Arab Isse, adding there were no inconsistencies in the process.

The Electoral Dispute Resolution Committee has informed the electoral committee that they are free to announce the election results of the seat # Hop239.

Incumbent Lawmaker Hussein Arab Isse has not yet commented on the committee’s decision.
