Addis Ababa (SD) – Ethiopian Minister Women Children and Youth Filsan Abdullahi has today announced her resignation today sighting several reasons for leaving office.

In February, minister Filsan said it was clear that rape took place in the Tigray region of Ethiopia during the ten-month long war between the national and the TPLF forces.

Her resignation came a week before PM Abiy was to appoint a new government.
