Mogadishu (SD) – A recent explosion in Hodan district of Benadir region targeted a vehicle at the Taleh intersection in Mogadishu, according to eyewitnesses.

The blast was heard in some districts of the capital and neighborhoods in Hodan district and there are reports of casualties from the blast.

Two people were injured and taken to medical facilities, according to reports, and the injuries are said to be serious, although no official details have been released about the blast.

Meanwhile, a number of bombs were reportedly intercepted by security forces tonight and detonated, causing no casualties, although no official details have been released by security agencies.
