Hargeisa (SD) – Chairman of the opposition party UCID Eng. Faisal Ali Warabe has suddenly announced that he is working on the re-election of President Farmajo, in an stunning announcement.

The opposition chairman, known for his unpredictable and outrageous comments made the announcement after he was angered by remarks made by former Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

Former Somali president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who is once again running for the presidency of Somalia, recently spoke about the situation and the interests of the people of Sool and Sanaag regions.

“Sool and Sanaag are Somali people who have suffered a lot for unity, and their solution is not in Hargeisa, Garowe and Villa Somalia, they need a Somali solution.” Hassan Sheikh said.

The President added “Neither clans nor colonial boundaries are the solution, it needs a Somali solution.”

The chairman of UCID outraged by that comment said he will now work for the re-election of President Farmajo, perplexing Somalilanders everywhere.

The UCID Chairman was known to be a harsh critic of President Farmajo and has previously blamed Mogadishu politicians for Farmajo’s presidency.

The Chairman’s announcement, by way of recorded voicemail has been circulating on social media for the past few hours, Chairman Faisal has not commented on the released audio.
