Mogadishu (SD) – The President and Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Mohamed Hussein Roble congratulates Somali people and Muslims around the world on Eid al-Adha.
The President pointed to the blessings of these blessed days of Eid al-Adha, He commended the Somali people for supporting each other and working for the common good, with security at the forefront.
“I urge the Somali people, especially the Somalis who were planning to perform the Hajj this year, to instead give charity and help the poor, which is one of the best ways to draw closer to God.” President Farmajo said.
The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble also congratulated the people of Somalia on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
“To all the people of Islam, especially the people of Somalia wherever you are, I want to congratulate you on the blessed day of Eid al-Adha. I wish you a happy Eid.” Prime Minister Roble said.
Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, also called on the people of Somalia to lend a helping hand to those in need.
“People of Somalia, wherever you are, I ask off you to help each other, those of you who have a lot of wealth, I ask of you to give to those who have nothing, especially orphans and the poor. ” Prime Minister Roble went on to say “This year Eid al-Adha comes at a time when the country is in an election. Insha Allah, I and my government hope that this election will be held in a fair, just and transparent manner.”
