DHUSAMAREB (SD) -The Minister of Internal Security of the Somali government, Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail (Fartag), and the Vice President of Galmudug, Ali Dahir Eid, concluded a consultative conference in Dhusamareb, which focused on the development of security in Somalia.

The two-day conference addressed the Joint Police Program (JPP-2), the Somali police law, the strategic security plan, and the withdrawal of ATMIS forces.

Minister Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail emphasized the importance of this conference for the security and overall peace of Somalia.

Vice President of Galmudug, Ali Dahir Eid, also praised the conference’s success, highlighting that Galmudug is a critical region in the fight against Al-Shabaab.

Additionally, the conference featured speeches from the Deputy Police Commissioner of Somalia and the security ministers of the federal member states, who discussed opportunities and cooperation to ensure the country’s security.
